Time Management
· Manage your time! Keep a schedule for your homework and use an agenda or calendar software on your laptop
· It's important to manage your time wisely, try and cut down on TV and video games as there will be time for it after
· Always study a little every day for at least 20 minutes because studying the night before may not be enough time.
Prioritize
· Do things that are more important first and then do the less important things.
· Determine which assignments are due first and worth more and focus and work harder on those tasks.
Be Responsible
· When studying or working, don’t be on any social networking sites or texting because you may not be able to concentrate.
· While studying, take short breaks and don’t study for a continuously long hours
· Study when you have your 100% energy, not late at night or really early in the morning
Be Organized
· When typing a paper or essay, use proper grammar with no punctuation errors and use proper English language, no slang.
· When having big tests, try to remember only the important notes
· While taking notes, in class don’t copy the whole note, only the important information.
· Always take sufficient notes in class and ask any questions if you have any doubts.
· Have a good, clean binder with specific categories and sections
